The Traveler
The Traveler includes aqua/green engineering accessories, and a United Federation of Planets base – despite having no real association with the UFP. The Traveler is an alien of unknown species, who basically seems like a Q (but is not one), and is possibly from another dimension. It’s never really explained, and nobody has a huge problem with it when he wanders off into the galaxy with wunderkind Wesley Crusher.
Actor Eric Menyuk was nearly cast as Data; he’s now an attorney.
